The Princess and The Frog VILLAIN: Keith David as Dr. Facilier

KEITH DAVID is the voice behind Dr. Facilier, the villain in Disney’s The Princess and The Frog. I love him! Most will remember him from Something About Mary, but he’s also been in Crash, Dead Presidents, ATL, and a host of superhero cartoons and TV shows. He was also most recently the voice of the “The Cat” in Coraline.

A Christmas Carol – In Theaters November 6

achristmasstory

This trailer for Robert Zemeckis’ forthcoming Disney vehicle A Christmas Carol has been in theaters all summer, but it’s only now finally hitting the net. The film, starring Jim Carrey in four different roles as well as Gary Oldman, Robin Wright Penn, Colin Firth, Cary Elwes and Bob Hoskins, looks pretty incredible based on the trailer for the animated tale, which will debut in theaters on November 6th in both Disney Digital 3-D and IMAX 3-D formats. This marks the third time that Disney has reimagined the classic Dickens tale in 26 years, though it looks like it could quite possibly one of the best imaginings of the story. Watch the trailer above and judge for yourself.

‘The Revivalists’ is an exhibition at CAA in London curated by british design commenter Max Fraser. The show features a stable of emerging designers and craftspeople all hailing from London. ‘The Revivalists’ explores the definitions of craft and design in contemporary culture, showcasing where these fields merge and migrate. The designers on show all represent a growing number of creative people rebelling against the newness of mass production, choosing a more traditional mode of creation. One of the exhibit’s highlights includes the illuminated seating collection by Lee Broom, which transforms old chairs into sculptural works using lighting…

Not the most thought provoking post – but REALLY entertaining. Some guys decided to start a blog called PeopleofWalmart.com, featuring pictures taken at Wal-Mart stores across the nation, and hilarity ensues…

Back from Break!

girlsonbreak

Not that I even announced a break! I just had a major case Blogger’s Block. I mean bad. I had to hustle at the end of the Summer to make sure that we did the usual Summer stuff with the kids, and then the Back to School frenzy nearly killed me. But I’m back!
