Smartphone danger: Distracted parenting (via CNN Living)

I am definitely working on paying more attention to what is presently happening around me, and not my phone. I’ve been stuck in “always available” mode for work since 2000 and it’s beginning to wear thin. I would love to say that articles like this one finally woke me up, but honestly, I think I’m just plain exhausted. If you aren’t close to hitting rock bottom, maybe this article will help you acknowledge that you too are a distracted parent.

“Never run out of toilet tissue again!”, promises ALICE.com

alicedotcom

I have not tried this service yet, but it sounds interesting. Alice.com is proposing that you can permanently scratch household shopping from your To Do list. They are offering the cheapest prices for soap, toilet tissue, shampoo, all the essentials, NO SHIPPING, theĀ option of automated orders and of course the convenience of not having to lug this stuff to the car and into the house anymore. To find out if you need a little Alice in your life, check out: http://www.alice.com
