The new Pottery Barn line is called “Vintage Style” inspired by Wine Country. I’m not in love with the grapes and vines motifs on some of the accesories, but the colors all work well together.

Let’s just say I’m a few cupcakes away from my weight when I was in my 20s. I haven’t worn high heels since I was 110 pounds. Even then I never looked comfortable in them. I almost always start the ”my feet hurt” hobble within the first hour. I don’t think it’s fair that some women can wear them as if they are wearing sneakers. If I WERE to buy a fabulous pair of heels, they would most certainly be the “it” shoes by Christian Louboutin with the signature red soles. Saks.com is selling them for 60% off to skinny girls with feet that never hurt. If you buy some, don’t tell me.

I’m sure every woman you meet on the street could tell you how she would spend $1,000 – 10,000 in her house or apartment in less than 2 minutes. So no wonder I’m a sucker for beautiful home accessories for $70. An attainable amount of money, a snap judgment and that baby is coming home. It took a while for me to catch on to the outdoor lantern craze, but I’m sold. I want 3 varied lanterns by the end of this summer. I have to figure out how to hang them since I know the tree branches over my patio are not nearly strong enough.
